Summer 2026 - Bozeman Hikes with Bev

Let’s hike & explore together this summer.

Meet new friends and bring some along too.

Start Time: 9:30am
Finish Time: 11am-12:30pm
*Hikes will last about 1.5-2.5 hours, depending on the trail. Some notes are below.
We will chat about this before we begin and make choices as a group so nobody is alone who doesn’t want to be.
You are always welcome to turn around early or go further.

Fridays:

6/26 - Bridger Foothills - we will meet at the M Trailhead and divert to the less taken path, winding up to the West for about an hour before turning around.

7/10 - Stone Creek - a shadier hike with gentle switchbacks, a little more outside of town with less crowds.

7/24 - Middle Cottonwood - this hike follows the river and crosses it several times through bridges and one rock hop, it’s a favorite hike where my kids find frogs every summer. No kids on these hikes, but perhaps we will see a few frogs sitting on sunny rocks.

7/31 - South Cottonwood - chosen for it’s shadiness in the middle of summer, this hike also has a river experience and a couple bridges.

8/7 - Hyalite Reservoir - we will loop around the reservoir, which is a grand experience! About 5 miles, plan for 1.5-2 hours.

8/21 - Meet at 8:30am **Hyalite Lake - this hike is 11 miles round trip with 7 waterfalls, will be an all day hike

9/11 - North Cottonwood - We covered middle and south cottonwood, so it’s time for north!

9/18 - Sypes Canyon - A local favorite with spectacular views at the ridge, about an hour up.

9/25 - Mount Ellis - Lot’s of sunshine and warm vibes on this trail as we head into the fall.
