We all develop compensations patterns in life. Through sports, physical activities and positions we put the body in repeatedly. The muscles communicate that something is off with messages of pain, discomfort and breakdown. That tweak in your back from twisting to pick something up off the floor wasn’t the cause. It was the last straw.
Tension imbalance begins long before the injury.
It can be prevented.
Restorative motion sessions explore the relationships in your unique neuromuscular system to restore communication and inform exercise choices. Each and every case of sciatica, osgood schlatters, back pain and plantar-fascitis has different root causes. I don’t follow protocols, I let the body share what is happening using my knowledge of the language of the muscles - movement. I’ve been called a Muscle Magician.
If your issues are stemming from the muscles, this work will make a difference in your system.
What to expect with Restorative Motion bodywork:
One session - investigating motion and muscles to identify areas that need attention and address one or two regions. Additional sessions may be required to see the full picture and maintain progress.
Three sessions (within a months time is ideal) - identify acute vs. chronic patterns and address areas that need work. This is recommended.
5+ sessions - Addressing stuck patterns that require reinforcement and further investigation.
*Regardless of symptoms, these sessions enhance the balance and integrity of your neuromuscular system. This work is recommended monthly, bi-monthly or at least a couple times per year for prevention and maintenance. Each body is different and we can discuss what’s best for you.

Restorative Motion Sessions can include a combination of joint range of motion assessment, muscle testing, isometric and/or concentric exercise, stretching, breath work, meditation or light cardiovascular exercise.
The session is guided by client goals and what the body presents.

Health/Life Coaching will Include an intake and exploration of your goals. Bev uses many different techniques and methods include SMART Goals, Clifton Strengths Finder and Motivational Interviewing to help clients make progress in a simple yet effective manner.
