Anatomy + Physiology Educator and Muscle & Sleep Specialist best describes my professional life these day. I’ve served in many roles over my 22 years in the Health & Wellness Industry, starting as an aquacize instructor and facing my toughest clients (two young boys :)) when becoming a mother. Bodyworkers, fitness professionals and active people work with me to embody and integrate anatomy, practice mindful movement and return to restful sleep.
Hundreds of people have worked with me privately or in small groups over the years.
My profound curiosity for the human body guides my journey as a teacher and coach, focusing on powerful tools for change and using the lens of body awareness as a guiding principle. I don’t serve a certain population, I coach people with a particular mindset. They want to understand the foundations of how their system operates, feel the anatomy and prevent issues instead of coping with them.
Personal trainers, massage therapists, pilates instructors, yoga teachers, chiropractors, physical therapists and health coaches are some of the professionals I share experiences and knowledge with.
My bachelors degree is Exercise Science and my masters degree is Kinesiology. I'm an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and am currently pursuing a Graduate Mental Health Support Certificate. I've taught 50+ courses and workshops for fitness professionals and at the college level around the United States and online for 20 years.
Hands-on exploration and application of knowledge are the most efficient ways of absorbing information or learning a skill. I like to make my classes fun, engaging and creative. Read what my students from around the world have to say on the testimonials page.
It's fun to lead the way for passionate wellness professionals, who impact their communities every day. I get excited about the one-of-a-kind path that each individual is on and the discoveries people make when we collaborate on exploring the human body from all angles.
