Integrative Anatomy for Body Workers

This weekend workshop provides attendees the opportunity to deepen anatomy knowledge and enhance skills with bodywork using methods that merge anatomy, body awareness and kinesiology together. At the end of this course, therapists, trainers and practitioners will be more connected with muscles through palpation and movement in a thorough, integrated manner - applying anatomy knowledge with confidence to their practice with clients.

Course Objectives

  • Palpate, explore and color on the body, bringing the muscles to the surface and accurately seeing how they move.

  • Apply clay to model skeletons, experiencing the muscles in 3-D.

  • Evaluate joint range of motion, considering muscle involvement to broaden your understanding.

  • Explore exercises, stretches, and self-care techniques to nurture and restore your system, integrating the material in a meaningful way.

Student Reflections

“Beverly is a great anatomy teacher who makes her classes fun and interactive. She gave us an appreciation for each muscle by focusing on body awareness, visualization and what it feels like to actually contract that muscle. I recommend Beverly’s courses to anyone interested in anatomy even if you have taken previous anatomy courses.”

~ Dr. Adam Manninen, D.C.

“Bev is a one of a kind anatomy teacher! I have taken 3 courses over anatomy before meeting Bev and I can finally say that I am confident with what I know! She explains everything to make it easier for you and never hesitates to answer a question, it is impressive how knowledgeable she is.”

~ Amy Grevious, LMT

Beverly is so knowledgable about the human body and I learned so much from her anatomy course. She has amazing tools to help all kinds of learners understand the muscles in the body. I highly recommend all of her classes for professionals who want to brush up on their skills or expand their knowledge.

Having Beverly teach the anatomy portion of my yoga teacher training was an incredible gift to both me and my students. Her depth of knowledge about the human body is truly extraordinary, and she brings that expertise to life by connecting it seamlessly with the practice and philosophy of yoga.

As both an avid yoga practitioner and a highly skilled educator, Beverly has a rare ability to make complex anatomical concepts engaging, clear, and immediately applicable. She presents information in a way that resonates with students of all levels, helping them not only understand anatomy but truly feel it in their practice.

Her warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism created such a positive and inspiring learning environment.
