Are Melatonin Supplements ok?

How do I sleep after Menopause?

Why am I so tired?

How much sleep is enough?

Why do I wake up at 3am?

How do I shut down my mind?

We cruise through these questions using a lens of physiology when you attend a sleep workshop with me. The endocrine and nervous systems hold powerful answers to the exhaustion so many people are coping with (in ways that aren’t working).

Every other person I talk to tells me they are tired.

“Tired” has become an automatic mantra that we try to fix with caffeine, sugar and alcohol - to name a few. Yet, these coping mechanisms fall short of doing what our brain and body can do when it’s given the circumstances and time needed to rest, restore and heal.

Human beings were designed with sleep as a foundational medicine and yet we search in so many other places for solutions to our fatigue, dis-regulation and diseases.

Without healthy sleep as a foundation we cannot function optimally.

Why are we so sleep deprived?

There are a lot of misconceptions out there about sleep. As an anatomy and physiology teacher and wellness professional with 22 years of experience (and someone who has been sleep deprived) I love teaching the science and providing simple steps for each person I guide and attends my classes so that they can see a path forward for themselves.

Group sleep workshops are impactful because you get the benefit of personalized guidance within the support of a group of others seeking sleep solutions.

Reach out to schedule a private sleep workshop for your medical practice, fitness studio, classroom or group of friends or colleagues. It’s a wonderful bonding experience and way to support the people you spend the most time with in their health and vitality.

We heal together.

Beverly gave our team a great educational sleep seminar on the importance of sleep and its holistic impact on our individual wellbeing and fitness goals. Not to mention the obvious ways it could help us improve the condition of our clients’ lives. Her information was clear and concise and on a level we could all understand and relate to!
