Anatomy & Kinesiology Continuing Education for Body Workers - Live Workshops

Some of the activities included in Bev’s anatomy classes and workshops are:

  • Palpating, exploring and coloring on the body, bringing the muscles to the surface and more accurately seeing how they move.

  • Applying clay onto model skeletons, experiencing the muscles in 3-D.

  • Evaluating joint range of motion, considering muscle involvement to broaden your understanding.

  • Exploring exercises, stretches, and self-care techniques to nurture and restore your system to integrate and embody anatomy.

These classes will center around three components of anatomy and kinesiology:

Palpate: embody muscle locations through hands on exploration.

Create: navigate the layers and relationships of muscles using clay & body coloring.

Integrate:  investigate movement within real time scenarios found on students during class.

Feedback from students

Beverly is a great anatomy teacher who makes her classes fun and interactive. She gave us an appreciation for each muscle by focusing on body awareness, visualization and what it feels like to actually contract that muscle. I recommend Beverly’s courses to anyone interested in anatomy even if you have taken previous anatomy courses.

Bev is a one of a kind anatomy teacher! I have taken 3 courses over anatomy before meeting Bev and I can finally say that I am confident with what I know! She explains everything to make it easier for you and never hesitates to answer a question, it is impressive how knowledgeable she is.
